Silence Retreat
Vibra Clásica
This October the Silence Retreat returns to Portillo. First inspired by Kevin Ward and carried forward by his daughter Caroline across Latin America, the United States, Spain, South Africa and Australia, it now returns to Chile by request. In times like these, stopping — stepping away from noise and demands — is essential for leaders, parents, couples and people alike.
The return of the retreat
Between 2009 and 2018, Portillo hosted a one-week silent retreat that many described as a before and after. Each participant has a daily companion, reflection materials and a setting of natural beauty that supports the process of laying down burdens and opening to greater inner freedom. After a pause, we return this October in response to those who have asked for it and to the need of these times.
An inspiration that expands
Kevin Ward was the initial inspiration, and he passed the baton to his daughter Caroline, who took this retreat to Mexico, Brazil, Chile, the United States, Spain, South Africa and Australia. Today it continues in the same spirit: offering a human and spiritual space where silence becomes a teacher, and the soul can be renewed.
An invitation for the present
The world today reminds us that pausing is not a luxury, but an urgency. As leaders, parents, partners or simply as human beings, we need time to recover, remember who we are and love more fully
Those who would like to know more are invited to a Zoom gathering on Thursday 2 October at 7:00 pm
